PSS96 Zero Trigger
22 February, 2011, 23:25
Yo
Got a problem well atleast I think it's a problem might be normal.
Ok so got the Laylax PSS96 Zero Trigger for my Warrior as my plastic one exploded. So installed it (two screws and then the spring guide stopper done). Now when I dry fire it sounds fine but when I fire with BB in it makes a twang sound. Other upgrades:
Laylax Teflon Cylinder
Laylax Spring Guide
Laylax Cylinder Head
FF Piston
FF Piston Head
150 Spring
Any help would be great, don't want to destroy my new upgrades
Cheers
Ric

Re: PSS96 Zero Trigger
Is it a loud twang or soft
if loud you need to check the spring size is correct on the spring guide
also check the guide stopper is lodged In the triiger mech when cycling the bolt
Grease with White lithium grease and should be ok

Re: PSS96 Zero Trigger
It's a loud one. I'll check the spring tomorrow. When you say guide stopper in the trigger mech do you mean it hasn't come out of it's "stopping" position. It seems to be in their right as it clicks in and doesn't drop out. It just moves up and down about 3-4milmeters.
Also dude what does the little screw on the bottom of the stopper do?
Cheers for help so far
Ric

Re: PSS96 Zero Trigger
If you fitted all the upgrades at same time i would say, spring too long and too powerful,i cut a fair few coils off mine and the twang went away.
bet you find you have to compress the spring loads to screw the cylinder head on?

Re: PSS96 Zero Trigger
Well actually I can't get the cylinder head off person who sold it to me tightened it good an proper, but atleast no air leaks. Cheers though dude but the problem has been solved. Twang noise gone after I put some grease on lol can't believe I forgot to do that. The spring guide stopper is still really quite lose when it's locked in but I don't think it's gonna come out. When I cock the gun the guide stopper locks up anyway so it's doing it's job.
Cheers for everyones help
Ric

He is useless... All the more reason to be on his team. It'd be cruel to sneak up on him and release a shower shell from an M203 at him...
On second thoughts...
