I have started upgrading...

I have got:

Teflon Cylinder
Silent head l96

This is what I think I need:

Spring guide - Either guarder 9mm or LayLax(FIRST) PSSL96
Spring - Want 480 FPS (Please advise make/size)
Trigger box - Laylax zero trigger or PDI zero V trigger.
Tightbore to be decided later

Anything else I have missed out? Thanks a lot. Really appreciate any help!

This is what I have so far, considering availability etc. I think these parts are all compatible....


Laylax high pressure piston
Laylax Perfect Sniping System Spring Guide (7mm & 9mm)
PDI 140 spring
First factory zero trigger.

Hi mate, personally would rather splash out on the barrel and rubber first or just do it all in one go when you have the moneys

Would work out cheaper most likely too as your getting all items in one postage not multiple ones.

Agreed, I got all the piston/cylinder upgrades and tbh I saw no difference. Barrel and hop is where you need to start. As for the upgrades we can't tell if they are the right ones as you haven't said if they are PSS96, PSS10 etc. Laylax have those parts for VSRs, L96, APS2 etc

And to let you know, the difference in range from 440 to 500 in my aps2 is nothing that noticable so, most definatly barrel and hop first, then take it from there.

They are all pss96. The thing is my trigger box is broken so I need one of them first... They aren't all from the same place though....

What hop should I get... Seeing the range is currently 40m when the trigger works I owuld to get a bigger spring in quick...
