Edgi BAR 10 cocking problem
1 May, 2011, 15:49
Ok, i brought an edgi upgrade kit for my bar 10 the other day.. Fitted everything, all fitted nice and when i went to test it out it wouldnt cock :S
Its seems like either the piston sear isnt grabbing the piston or the bolt just isnt coming back enough :S
Very very very confused any help would be great...
Thanks
Matt

Re: Edgi BAR 10 cocking problem
Cheers badas but i some how fixed it and now its cocked it wont fire :S!!
When i pull the trigger the trigger sears drop like they are ment to but it seems like they need to drop just 1 mill more to let the piston go.... If i unscrew the trigger while its cocked and pull the trigger box away from the gun about 1 mill it fires which i think comfires my suspicions...
Im really stuck with this lol!!!
Thanks
Matt

Strip it and rebuild it. Could be a slight misalignment somewhere.

Re: Edgi BAR 10 cocking problem
I had a similar problem when fitting laylax parts. Turns out the spring on the piston sear was poorly installed and was causing binding between the trigger box casing and the sear itself.
Re-assemble it, ensuring the sear movement is smooth and free of any obstruction.
