PDI sear with PSS10 high pressure piston (red)
2 June, 2011, 11:11
Hi
Has anyone used PDI sear with the PSS10 high pressure piston (red) I know every thread says you should use Laylax sears with Laylax pistons, but the sears are out of stock everywhere and seem to be discontinued.
The riffle is a Bar 10 Gspec with upgraded sears of unknown make, but slam fires with the Red piston, its fine with the standard plastic one. Spring is Pss10 150 and the spring guide is also PSS10 metal. I know the piston requires 45' and the PDI sear is also 45' but so is my current sear can these PDI sears be slightly bigger?

Re: PDI sear with PSS10 high pressure piston (red)
To be honest mate if you going to spend loads on the pdi sears
you might aswell get the pdi neo piston also
But I've had a few rifles that used pdi sears with the laylax red piston
it was ok
But I was never satisfied with the strength
but then others have used them with no problems
and others have had nothing but problems
Would either shell out for the complete zero trigger from laylax or the raven trigger
but if you have the money and googling skills
Get noobies m trigger it's the best made mech on the Market

Well you need to got out more
basically the perfect trigger system in build materials and mechanics
The m trigger from noobie/nobbie is brilliant
One was sold on here a few months back for £120
it's amazing piece of kit although rarely instock

Re: PDI sear with PSS10 high pressure piston (red)
thats why i bought pdi sears
and i also want to know would laylax piston work as i got laylax cylinder head spring spring guide barrel (everything laylax bar the sears as i cant afford to spend 120-180 on sears)

I'm personally running PDI sears with everything else laylax due to out of stock and mines running perfectly

Same as chef, But only put a hundred or so rounds through so far
The Zero trigger and M-trigger get recommended a lot but are like rocking horse poo. I could not find the z-trigger anywhere

In answer to your original question, assuming there's nothing else wrong with the rifle.
Yes PDI sears will work with the Laylax Neo piston.
I have been running mine for 1 and a half years and still no problems.
