  • L96 parts thread

I'm currently playing with a Warrior L96. The rifle was bought to learn a few gun smithing skills.

The barrell has been done with spacers and a PDI hop up. The empty mag indicator has been fixed and I've put some high density foam in the body cavities to stop all that echoing. It's all back together and working!

The next job is the piston, cylinder etc.

I've been looking at the teflon cylinder, damper cylinder head and spring guide from Laylax.

Now here is the bit I'm toying with, I was considering putting an airbrake in, which I guess means I don't need the damper. Now the problem is which piston head to use?

I've also been told that there are ventilation devices ie cylinder and/or piston head which are the same as an airbrake?

On top of that I'm not really sure what piston will go with the type 96 teflon cylinder, I'm guessing the 3 element piston for the APS2 will fit?

Any expertise will be greatly received.

By the way the airbrake will not only make it seriously quiet but it allows me to adjust FPS as well as using the spring.

Figured it the Laylax PSS2 bits fit.

As far as the ventilation bits someone told me about I have no idea.

Sorry that I am semi-necroposting, but I'd rather do that than create another L96 thread.

Do the PSS2 parts also fit?
