    It doesn't work like that.

Before lots of science posts, what site are you going to? and what is the definition of their dos limits?

I'd be extremely suprised if that figure was to be measured using anything other than 0.2g BBs. You need to modify your gun to lower it's power, not change the weight of the BBs you're using.

I believe ( and im sure the whole community will confirm ) that it is 400fps with a .2g round.

If your rifle is firing at 486 with a .36 round, that is prob closer to 600fps with a .2.
I dont know of any UK site which allows that.

            486fps on a .36g bb is 652fps with a .2g bb

not scientific here but generally 1 coil = approx. 15-20 fps!

dont take this for gospel as different rifles, different springs etc etc can have different tolerances better/worse ariseals etc.

                    Re: heavier bbs

spring will be too short if you clip enough coils off to get it that low from that high.
ALWAYS chrono on .2s, adding heavier ammo may travel slower (fps) but hit alot harder (joules).

get it under 350fps on .2s then use .28s in it, with a tightbore and firefly soft bucking, should be sweet
