Re: CA Trigger Problem
After reading, I've forgot myself about the trigger contacts!
- Like everyone else suggested, try cleaning it then lightly rub with sandpaper. If it doesn't work, visit me any time during tomorrow, maybe an exception of tonight. - I think I have a spare lying around the house.

Re: CA Trigger Problem
The fact that there is no tension in the trigger when it doesn't work makes me think that a spring or a part of the actual trigger assembly is not working/catching properly.

Re: CA Trigger Problem
Sometimes the contacts inside the gear box open up and don't complete the circuit. Mine did befor I built two new gb's. It did the same thing too worked sometimes. Very quick and easy fix. Just open the gb with and gently pull the trigger back watch to make sure it touches with both the other contacs. Give them a clean to, as excess gearbox grease can sometimes fly onto the contacs.
