CM16 SR-XL loose stock/buffer tube
12 July, 2016, 14:22
SO I've got a G&G CM16 SR-XL and the stock and buffer tube have become very loose and wobbly after about only 3 skirmishes. Is there a way I can tighten them up again?
Thanks, all help is very much appreciated.

There's a bolt if you look down you buffer tube probably just needs tightening up , be careful though as I think your mosfet is located in the buffer tube

Re: CM16 SR-XL loose stock/buffer tube
Either your castle nut has come loose (the big nut on the outside of your buffer tube which has the pattern of a castle wall on it) or there is a bolt/screw inside the buffer tube which screws into the back of your gearbox. You will need a long screwdriver to get to it though. Just be careful not to pinch a wire in there!

Re: CM16 SR-XL loose stock/buffer tube
On the CM16 SR it is just a screw inside the buffer tube. Pop the stock open, have a look down inside and you will see it. Carefully tighten up the screw without damaging any of the electric gubbins.
