If you are desperate to spend some money befor earning your defence. You could always get your loadout ready to go with your new gun when you do.

I'd rent then buy a RIF. Rent 3 different guns then you'll get a feel for each one and that'll give you a better idea of what you like and then buy your RIF. RIFs will also have a higher second hand value than a two-tone or ex two-tone
