Hmm, I wasn't actually aware of those points. Seems they may actually be worth looking into. Just a bummer that I recently brought a new charger which doesn't charge lipos. Doh!!
I may look into it at some point in time when I have the money to get the bits and pieces needed.

Well, if , and when, you do. You also need to consider the C rating of the battery. This will be on the battery pack. You guns motor will draw power and if it draws more power than the battery can supply, you will kill the battery.
Always, if possible, purchase batteries with a minimum see rating of 20C or higher. I have used and still use 15C and these should be adequate (I only fire semi though). But always play on the safe side, there's usually little or no difference in the price anyway.
