Might increase the Rate Of Fire (ROF) but nothing else

You might have to replace the plastic bushings if you havn't already as they probably wont last very long with a higher speed motor. Element 6mm set wont set you back more than a few quid unless you need them fitted too.

Version 2 Gearbox, if your running an m120 motor are you going for high rof? If so make sure you swap the bushings for metal anyway but as well you will need to swiss cheese the piston and put an m100 spring in.

just buy a new motor, probably the long type, though check what type yours is first, it's easy to tell the differance as the long type has a spring round the bottom end, and is pretty long, at least 8cm. As for internal upgrades, new brushings, with bearings. And check your gears, you'll want steel ones. aswell as a decent piston. Systema Energy will work though, they are mainly polycarbonate, but very strong, and give a great RoF

Question, what other upgrades have you done to your AEG? As getting a decent barrel/hop rubber would be a better upgrade than a lol bb hose imo. Guess the question is why do you need a new motor if the above hasn't been upgraded, you will just be making a hose with naff accuracy.

Pope stop describing my SPR! :p

What you need to ask youself OP is why you are replacing the motor. Do you want High ROF? Better trigger response? Or are you just doing it for the sake of being able to say I have a G&P M120 motor in here?

You will need to find out what you want to do with your gun, If you are limited on funds go for the front end (barrel and hop) first before upping the ROF.

                        +1 to the above.
Dont fall into the trap I did though (admittedly it still entertains me now), I went for a high torque setup on my LR300, M100 spring, systema magnum motor, standard guarder cylinder kit, then got the Modify smooth modular gears in torque flavour, no other mods internally, no swiss cheesing, no cutting teeth, nothing. first trigger pull on a 9.6 gave me 1320RPM
And hasnt skipped a beat since. Strangely the internals have virtually no wear even after about 25K worth of rounds through it. Bargain.

You've also got to ask yourself, how much money are you willing to throw at a £99 gun?

You've still got to decide on how much you're willing to spend on it though. Is it worth spending £150 on (for example) or, would you be better using the £150 you would spend, combine that with the second hand value of yours and buy a G&P M4 for example?
