yeah that looks better :/

i just spent 1.5 hours (watching the GP) filing that f####, now it fits flush against the top of the gun............ but even though it's a great fit, and even though the screws are in place......... IT SLIDES BACKWARDS AND FORWARDS .............. AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG waste of time and money lol *cry*

I have the CA B and T MP5K and luckily when I ordered my rail which looks very much like yours....A CA one turned up, they fit straight on top of the gun. I will take a pic of mine for you when I go to the shop later and up load it.

You do need some Krylon afer the messing about to cover the bright Aluminium.

I will also see if I can find the rail that I was talking about in the previous post. Can't promise anything though, I look on loads of sites.

Midas, the rail you talk about basically is another 20mm rail that sits ontop of the 20mm sight mount? Made to give a sight a bit more height? I think I saw one on the "blue-dog" website.

googling "King Arms Higher Mount Base for 20mm Rail" and the first result will show you what I mean

The one I was looking at keeps the scope as low to the gun as poss. As for me I dont like the look of a scope that sits high off the top of the gun on an MP5K, it's too short. Although Im sure it would look ok for a G3.

You may be better looking at one of the many claw mounts if you are looking for a mount to lift the scope a bit it will be easyer than fitting two rails together. I would think.

i've got the TM hi mount on my G3 - presume it would fit on an MP5K ???

@panic, just a quick thought. If you pack the front up to the same height as the back that would also cure your problem.

@heydrick, for me that would be way to high for a tiny MP5K. Looks fine on a G3.

so i bought the CYMA MP5 mount (C.45), delivered today, fits like a glove, no problems at all, plenty clearance............... but it's like it's 19.5mm so the scope mount is wobbly!!! kinel >
