I use a painting respirator with the filters torn off works great as you can still get a sweet cheek weld and has the same intimidating look as a gasmask also allows use of glasses so thats good too the vents are directed away from the eyes so your lenses won't fog up like they do with a gas mask also there are no breathing problems with the one i use (3M 5000 i think it's called).
