Why can't people just stop coming up with stupid ideas and just abide by site limits. It aint that hard is it? lol.
I agree. It's not like 20fps makes a difference anyway.

To be fair, I enquired about how to lower my fps by like 3 fps months ago and there was no real answer. But why would you try silly things like muzzle adapters etc, just bring it down with a spring etc.

I just suggested the muzzle adapter if he wasn't comfortable with opening up his gearbox, you are right though, they are dodgy

And sites with any sense won't allow them as they are unreliable.

Re: Lowering the fps with heavier BB's?
Muzzle reducer's as stated do not work very well on full auto but and it's a site by site basis, they do work on semi but because they can be removed / adjusted some sites appear not to allow them. Like many things in airsoft its a trust thing and unfortunately some people cannot be trusted.
Obviously the only truely safe way is to do a spring change and as Gaffa said M110 will give you just over but with hop on take you into the 340 - 350 range and after a short period of time will drop to mid 330's ish. Which is exactly what has happened to my Urban gun started off at about 310 and now down to late 280's time to upgrade and re spring
Sir we are f&cked we are surrounded. Son we are not f&cked we are in a target rich enviroment.
