Re: A question for Mid-cap users...

I went out with 5x 105rnd AK mids and a hi-cap last skirmish I was at, had about 3 massive reload gaps over the whole day which wasnt too bad but annoyin none the less. Was more impressed that 1x 1100mAh battery lasted the whole day despite burnin through approx 3000+rnds...

Mids FTW, used to use like a bag of 3700 excels a game at GZ then switch to mids now its 1000 or less i enjoy the games better its cheaper aswell.
Altho when using a support gun do go through a couple box mags lol.

5X 68 Rnd TM mags - That will last me half the day, then I re-load them at lunch. If we have a game where lots of ammo gets used I carry a midcap as a spare but I very rarely use it.

Re: A question for Mid-cap users...

I routinely take out 10 x 100rds mags for my Sig 552 and 10 x 100rds mags for my MP5k, which is use as a secondary when entering buildings.
I've been doing this for months and I have no idea why since I usually only get through about 5 for the Sig and 2 for the MP5, I think it's fear that I will get caught short. Looking at what the rest of you guys seem to be taking I think I'll lighten the load a little in future, perhaps I'll actually be able to fit through doorways.

Currently using 6x KA 120rd mags with my G&P M16A4, lasts me the whole day. I might fill one or two up on a "busy" day

EDIT: I'll take a full hi-cap with me, just for safe-measure. I've used it maybe twice since I got it; whacked it in my m16 when my midcaps weren't working very well.

I use Classic Army 130-round M4 midcaps and find 6-8 usually covers almost anything a game can throw at me

I own 11 m4 mids, a mix of CA and Adventure line. I do a lot of milsim games, and there are sometimes ammo restrictions in place, as a rule i generally go out with 5-6. (600 rnds).

How can you use that little, i got through around 5-6 470rd high caps in a day (G36k) and probs use close to 5000 rounds for a full day of airsoft. I like to see my BB's fly! Hitting people is a bonus.

                              AIMING HELPS.........

I very rarely flick my selecter off single on both my M4 or M14. Aimed, single shots, lot more fullfilling taking out an opponant with 1 or 2 BB's than half a hi cap full.

I use mid caps, and probably still do 2000 - 3000 in a day.

There again, I'll try and find the action when I can :D
