Also 300 fps is about right tbh. 50fps isn't going to make any difference

50 extra wont make it travel father tho but will get there faster? my site i think the limit is 340? more of a question rather advise btw i dont know i just screwed my m4 trying to sort my gear box

Yes it would get there quicker but the distances we are talking it's not going to make a huge difference.

Kinda, depends how high your hop is.

That's why when we chrono at games, we check that the BB's aren't going straight up as it lowers the Fps readings that way.

The whole point is that your weapon is below 350Fps for the entire day, while you play. Not for the 30 seconds that we do the chrono at the start of the day

i normally use a Gaurder SP90 in my guns... always took it down to about 320 FPS

so they make a SP 95? a SP 100 may keep it at 350....

Thanks for your input Ben however I wasn't asking from a 'wanting to cheat' point of view.

My M4 has no hop applied at all and chrono'd at Battle Lakes at 317fps (note - not cheating) and using thier ammo (note - still not cheating) I wondered what the effect was if I did have some hop on.

with no hop on you must have about 10M range? i always set my hop for about 40M on firing range

I don't know how far it will go however I have never been disappointed. In fact, at Battle Lakes it was as accurate as you need whilst out ranging most of the private guns.

I wound the hop off when I stripped the barrel out to clean it. I rebuilt it with a TM hop rubber and nub and I never reset the hop.
