i was thinking tonight. in a night game or a milsim it would be good to silently take out a sentry without using a sniper or sneaking right up behind them and bang killing them. i know the tm socom is pretty silent. any others that i could just slip in my plate carrier and pull out when i need to silently take down an opponent?

Not a object but just a simple point of view; You need to usually silence the winding of the motor/gearbox. Maybe use some *REAL* thin foam and put it between your receivers and gearbox. You want it to absorb the sound. Might make your AEG a bit more silent but ive no idea what this would do to the sound or your AEG.

The TM Mk.23 is probably the quietest you're going to get, pistol wise.

the best bet would be some sort of airsoft crossbow :L Thats what lots of special forces use in real life. Failing that, i would go for something like an AEP glock. Then, you want to make sure all of the gears in its tiny convuleted gearbox are REALLY well lubed and shimmed, and that everything is as smooth as it can be. Then find some way of cushioning the impact of the piston head on the cylinder head. Finally, Fill every available air gap within the body with fiam, and get a foam filled silencer. Expensive - yes. A lot of work - yes. As silent as you can get short of throwing beebs? Id say so


... or just get a tm socom like a normal person :L

if you can get it there is a maruzzin ngbb pistol that is smaller and quieter than mk23, i cant rememeber what its called tho. as for silencing an ics m4, no point trying as the gearbox is too open

springers can be pretty damn loud at the power level required. Im liking thrown daggers.. safe ones of course. What about a blow pipe? Could be done...

maruzen p99 is as quiet as a socom.(think thats what you were talking about bigfish)
any non-blowback pistol is going to be quieter than blowback or aeg.
and springers dont have to be powerfull but they do still make a fair bit of noise,my tmp 226 high grade springer can chuck a bb 30+ m no prob
