I think you will find it was a reply to Kamarov...

I'm anal when it comes to the details on my AK's. I mean, really anal, so these could be considered nit-picks.
The G&G AK-47 has a few mistakes. The ejection port is silver. The issue AK's before the AKM was introduced had it painted black. The pin in front of the ejection port is missing. There is a metal plate behind the bottom front handguard, which was absent on real AK-47's, but exists on Chinese Type 56's. The barrel should be ribbed, which helps heat dissipation. The bayonet mounts are missing. The screws by the stock are missing as well. The weapon is matte black. It should be blued steel, because matte black finished (anodized) started being used on the AKM. The automatic indicator is too high up, and And AK47's did not have the dove-tail sidemount. I'll leave out the difference between a milled and stamped steel reciever as I am not completely sure if the Soviets started using stamped steel on the AKM or later-generation AK-47's.
What do I say to this... Ahh, i've got it, you win.
For the record, I like the silver ejection port and you certainly do know AK's quite well... Then again, I have to say "think" as you probably know whether its true but I think that my AK field strips like/almost like the real AK whereas, CYMA's don't.
Also, Hull's internals recently mess up... This is in his CYMA... However he/I did fiddle around so no doubt it is our/my fault
Edit: And no, I didn't vote for G&G, still believe CYMA FTW!

No problem with the internals. Ive already told you, they're fine. What i do need is a new gearbox shell, which has only failed due to user error. (over-tightening the screw that holds the fire-selector onto the rifle, stripped the thread, fire-selector no longer stays on rifle.)

I would still say the gearbox shell is internals IMO, anyway. CYMA's are beast with reliability like real one and looks like real one.

Re: ak47?
for realism you will want to buy either a VFC or LCT AK47/AKM. the newer 2009 models have pinned front sights and gas blocks.
The VFC will take a 12v battery straight out the box and the finish in the LCT and VFC AK47 and 74 range is miles better than the CMYA crap that they cover the body and barrel in. Most CYMA's and Kalash AK's have 2 different black paints used which is really noticable.
Once again everyone here is saying that the CYMA is the best but thats simply not true. I know I've had most of them including CYMA's first ever AK which was a LPEG. I did a review years ago on arnies.
The CYMA gearbox shell and selector gears are a real weak point. Next time someone has their CYMA gearbox have a look at the swirls within the metal. This indicates a bad casting process which is prone to weakness. the selector parts are really bad and I've had 3 sets snap on me. Replacement parts for me are usually the guarder selectors as these are rock solid.
The best CYMA if you really want to get one is the .046 which is a clone of the TM EBB range but you can use normal AEG magazines unlike the TM. even though this is a good AEG I have seen on that has cracked the front of the lower receiver due to the blowback so be warned.
If you are on a budget get a Kalash steel version 74. unlike the rumours the gearbox won't explode in your face. The best thing to do is either service the gearbox yourself when you change the hot spring or get a local gunsmith to do it.
And lastly it doesn't matter which Ak you buy the wooden furniture is going to be pants. If you want it to look as realistic as possible you'll need to modify a RS set of furniture to fit.
The only exception to this is the Real Sword range but they are not AK's but instead Chinese Type 56 and 56-1 rifles which are based on the Russian Ak but have a few differences.
The 2 main differences being the hooded front sight with underfolding bayonet and chinese selector markings.

Put the AK porn away Jebus. We all know you have the biggest Airsoft penis in the UK and probably second in the world nest to Lord_sex on arines.
