I have owned a Galaxy and a tm and the Tm is by far the best choice. Ignore users who say Classic army. what I have relised it most Classic army usersd wished they had not wasted money on a make that is as aexpensive as TM but with the quality control of the cheaper clones.

For every Classic army owner who claims their aeg was perfect you will have another who got a dud staright out the box, Now compare that with Tokyo Marui owners. May 1 out of a 100 will say that they had a dud out the box.

The CA is metal and has the more desirable SEF lower receiver, any "issues" out of the box (CAs have always been good in my experience) can easilly be fixed.TMs, while performing well will always feel cheap, light and have that annoying wobbly fire selector.

the TM one is a bitch to take apart Id go with the CYMA one myself cheap and its metal what more do you want ?

Let's get real here for a minute.

If you are going to want to upgrade your MP5 at some point, you will be better off to get one of the metal bodied ones from the offset. Ie CA first then CYMA.

If you are going to leave it alone TM or maybe the new ICS one. I hear they are very good, all though I havn't had a play yet. They have 3 round burst as standard.

If you are feeling really flush there is the Systema, or on a budget Galaxy, don't overlook the Galaxy, if you don't mind plastic bodies.

i didnt know you could convert a systema into an mp5k easily...
anyway i bought an immaculate as good as new cyma mp5k 2nd hand for £75, and i am extremely happy with it,except that it needs a downgrade

Band saw more like or bench saw Midas stop braking systema`s for fun, you guys know that if Midas has a good month in the shop as a bonus he buy`s himself something made by systema and finds some hillbilly way to destroy it right ? lol

What`s your site limit ? is that with zero hop ? sometimes once you have the hop set up for mid to long distance it drops 10 to 30 fps off so you should come in at 330fps but if your opening it up to swap springs may as well drop some 13:1`s in there and an ultra torque motor get yourself 25 to 30 rps

I had a Cyma and it was very impressive, solid as a rock but perhaps too heavy, I suspect it weighs a good bit more than a real MP5k.

im probably taking the stock off as its a pdw, and i wanted a straight forward k...

but changing the gearing and adding a high torque is food for thought...tbh i havnt fired it yet, just checked over the gun, chronoed it indoors,and put it back in the box...

i ve got too many projects,and odd jobs to do already, so the mp5k may have to wait a while

13:1, m100 spring high torque motor mosfet and a small 7.4v or 11.1v bat maybe get that sucker around 28 to 34rps that`ll be decent to scare away most brave people lol
