JG do a good G-36 which will work well outdoors. The Cyma AK range are also very good so I hear.

Re: lookng to spend around 100 but on what?
Personally I`d go for an Cyma AK, strong gearbox, easy to work on, good size hicap, and if you get the full stock you`ll probably only need one large battery, AW do the AK for about 109.
I`m also a fan of cheesy guns so recently I bought a cheap Thompson from ******* ***** for £45. Thinking it would be a bag of poo, turned out that it had a plastic copy of the V6 box and shot at about 250fps.
Had a locap stick mag with it and a hicap drum mag (about 800 rounds), supplied battery was a 450mah mini so I dumped that and bunged a 1500mah in it. Not a very powerful gun but it was useable in a skirmish, got about 20m range. After all these years airsofting I found myself having to think again about tactics and concealment due to being outranged by a lot of the guns on site, a sort of back to basics which was almost like my first skirmish at Wiltshire Warzone.
Unfortunately it can`t be upgraded other than making the air seal better. I was a bit too keen and dropped an M95 spring in it, shot about 200 rounds only to hear the familiar screech of stripped gears, but for £45 its not a great loss, I`ll just keep an eye out for a Thompson gearbox.
If I was starting out again I`d get the Tommy, buy another mini battery off fleabay and spend the rest of the money on a few game days. By that time I`d have saved a bit more, done my three games and be on the look out for a better gun....and I wouldn`t have wasted money on hire guns which I`d never own.
You can get both of these in two tone as well.
