Paypal dispute- personal payment

Hi guys, had a issue with a seller (Stealthfighter), money sent days ago but he is not responding any pms or emails.

I sent the payment as personal payment but not gift. I tried to open a dispute on paypal but its not letting me cos it's a personal payment.

How can I claim my money back??

Also some of the money was from my bank account so possibly I could contact the bank?

Help on this please guys.

Simply you can't via Paypal. You need to speak to CAB or police now.

well i think you have realised by now that you never use personal payment but i would have looked at his feedback score before you decided to deal with him he has only one point and its for a dealing in trade not for the exchanging of money.

bit of advice for ya from me is that allways check their feedback score, if someone has less than 10 i allways ready the comments left by other users and judge from there if your not satisfied then set conditions of the sale.

Thanks guys, just sent a email to paypal see what happens. If I report to police will they ignore this kind of case cos its not like thousands quids??

Advice for everybody I think you should never pay full amount for a gun before you get it!!

Or you should pay as GOODS to make sure you have buyer protection.

Police won't do an awful lot about this. As it's a civil dispute. CAB would be your best option. They'll help you file a small court claim then. The police only really get involved if it's done on mass scale. But even then the culprit get's away with it. We've all seen it happen on here.
