Well i should be placing my order for an M14 in about a week and a half. so unless i find a pre-owned TM for a good price ill be buying the CYMA version as theyre only 100quid brand new, leaving me a nice chuck on cash towards upgrades.
Thanks for all the replys guys!!
Cheers,
Gaz.
leaving you a nice chunk of cash to get it repaired...........
trust me it's worth getting a TM and spending a bit more.

Re: M14 Advice.
I quite like the AGM out of the clones available. A lot of custom WWII builders i know, use the AGM every time.

Re: M14 Advice.
A bit more
Cyma - 100
G&G soc16 - 200 (was 325)
TM - 300
If you going to spend the spare 100 on upgrading a cyma you might aswell use that 100 on getting a G&G as they are already pre-upgraded - 350, tightbore, better external quality, better gears, pistons, re-inforced gearbox. You couldnt spend 100 quid on a cyma to get it up to g&g standard.
As for TM's they are they most expensive and yet they they are not upgraded.
You pay 300 for the gun
Have to buy a m100 spring
30 quid for a high cap as it comes with low cap
say 40 quid for a tightbore
Total 400 ish
G&G already has all these things ready to go for 199.95 - you cant beat the offer
Looks like we got ourselves a good old fashioned m14 off boys (said in golden nuggets advert style)
At the end of the day i have the soc 16 and its mental - i payed 199.95 and there is guys out there with tm m14s who payed double that and mine is still better. (proven)
And after all you asked for a cheap m14 - tm is not cheap -upgrading a cyma isnt cost effective - the simple logical choice between those two is the g&g soc 16.
If you have 100 quid get a cyma for sure.
If you have 200 quid get a soc 16.
If you have 300 quid get the soc 16 and then sit with your spare 100 quid in your hand laughing at the other fools.

Re: M14 Advice.
I have owned a few different M14s, and I have to say TM. It's a beast, very comfortable noise when firing.

Re: M14 Advice.
Just to add,
The G&G is out of stock at Z1 according to the stock check...
I don't imagine they'll come back again.

Agreed, but unfortunatley the same can't be said about the internals, TM will always beat G&G there (well they have so far anyway)
