MP5's
1 February, 2012, 14:20
Hey all,
I am looking for an mp5 and after seeing a mp5k decided its not the one for me, so im looking again.
I have it narrowed down to a MP5 SD5 with a retractable stock, but was wondering which is the best to go for Tokyo Marui or ICS?

Re: MP5's
I think you'll find the SD6 is the retractable stock one.
If you want metal, it has to be the ICS. If you don't have to have metal, go with the TM.

Re: MP5's
I have a TM mp5 sd5 for sale it`s yours for £100 with a load of extra`s it works just needs a bit of TLC to get semi working again. You could always just get the sd6 stock for it if you wanted that stock.

Re: MP5's
Yeah, because changing the stock from full to sliding also means rewiring to the front.

Re: MP5's
Don`t blame you I hate having to re-wire gearboxes I normally go from front to back as I stick a battery stock on an m4 to balance it better if the bats up in the front.
Saying that I just ordered a d-boys pdw and will be putting the bat in a ris mag grip so that could be fun.

I'd have bought an SRC MP5 long ago if the mags were TM-compatible...

Re: MP5's
Classic Army MP5s are an option.. if you can find the non-sportlines anywhere (<3 my Proline B&T MP5A4).

Re: MP5's
The SRC mp5's seem very durable being made from steel. A weak point on most mp5's seems to be the tabs which connect the barrel to the reciever, suppose a steel designs makes that issue non existent. Saying all that if you dont bash them around they shouldnt break anyway.
