Re: Wasps nest
Yeah, they were just parked. Not all together, just saw them in the space of a few hours. Would have taken a picture but certainly didn't want to get too close :-s

Re: Wasps nest
sorry guys but very funny lololololololol It must be the season as the same thing happened at Billericay last week. Three very mucho, but nice guys, from a hard drinking and playing team thought they would ambush the enemy by waiting to pounce inside a vietnam Village hut. As they closed the door and had a chuckle over who would be first into their trap there was an excessive buzzing sound from the darkest corner of the hut lol. As they did so they soon realised they had company. It turned out to be a whasp nest inside the hut. They burst out of the hut, screaming and running, leaving their kit behind! The rest is history as they say lol

Re: Wasps nest
Awesome!!!! I think the only experience with Wasps i've ever had was YEARS back when I was at school. We were on the playing fields playing rounders or some gay bat and ball game and we heard a humming, then literally a small black mist came over the fence making us all hit the floor. We got up as it passed and started shouting to the group playing at the other end of the field. All they did was stop and stare at us as we jumped up and down waving and shouting until they understood what we meant as the swarm hit them and they scattered, we all just lol'd as people were running in every direction and jumping on the floor lol. I've never seen a swarm like that IRL, or since to be honest, but you don't wanna get in its way lol.

Re: Wasps nest
When I used to be a paintball marshal, we had a hornets nest in one of the bunkers. So, at lunchtime, we went out to 'remove' the nest. This involved 6 of us, fully covered head to toe with several smoke and flashbang grenades and a paintball marker each.
We put a hole in the nest with the paintball markers and one guy lit a grenade and ran at the nest, popped the grenade in the hole. You can imagine what happened next.
It was beautiful :D
