Signatures - dissapeared

Pretty much as the thread title have all our sigs disappeared? I cant see anyones and my board settings has the box ticked for "see users signatures"

is it me or are the ghasly problems reoccuring again

same as last year with all the lag , post going missing , sigs , ans vcard and security token porblems are not here...............yet

I am not sure what changes have been made and am un-able to take a look and see, and need to talk to fat_dog to find out what has been changed and hopefully why.

It may be something to do with the forum taking up too much of the servers recources.

Yeah i noticed this and not only that but the "edit signature" option has vanished from my user CP!

It may be something to do with the forum taking up too much of the servers recources.

Considering the amount of quoted pictures, and stupidly huge ones recently, I'm not surprised

My point would be that new servers are needed. To be fair with the volume of users this forum gets there should of been an upgrade long ago.

why not do what most forum's do and have a limit on size.

Looks like a "permissions" issue as Mod signatures are still there.

I dont know much as it was nothing to do with me, but I can say that the signature permissions would have been removed by the user group policy.. as mods are in a diferent group they didnt have thier permissions changed. If the reason was to help reduce the server work load then any size signature would be too much (they were already limited).

As for upgrading the server for this forum, well it is a free forum, why pay for a larger server or host package?

As far as I can see, signature images are all hosted off site so they are not a resource issue for Z1. There is some other reason...
