Re: Is it just me?
I wonder if that's any reference to me and my (mates) Kart M14 JAE?
Truth is, most people pay more for the custom body kit.
Also, I can't see the argument. Very often, splitting a gun will get more than selling as a whole, broken gun...

Re: Is it just me?
Over the years of viewing second hand airsoft kit i've hardly ever seen someone who puts a realistic price. Sure it's the sellers choice to ask for what they want, most of the time it does sell, but people who say things like, "need quick sale" or "cash reqd urgently" seem to have too high a price and expect people will pay.
If it's second hand you cant expect to get 75% of its original value back...you have to expect lower.

Yes, if it is custom and not JG, agreed.

Quite right, I would use a 14lb sledge hammer to help the process along.

Re: Is it just me?
the people who wont go any lower usually do after a couple of bumps.
if it's overpriced it won't sell although i wonder at the value of the appraisal system as a gun i saw apparised at £140 appeared for sale at £275 a week later. i lost interest then so i guess it's still for sale....

On the other side of the coin, has any one seen some of the blatantly stupid offers made by some potential buyers?
Gun up for £200 (worth it or not)
"Give you £100 for it mate"
Come on?!?

Re: Is it just me?
If people say "sensible" offers then i can see a problem. But if people just say "im open to offers" how do people know whats good?

Ive seen people offering half what the seller has put the item up for.
Were talking about a bit of common sense when it comes to sellers and there prices, but has to be the same for buyers too with there offers.
I understand if you dont ask you dont get kind of thing but i also think both sellers and buyers need to get themselves back to earth...lol
