Here is my Mich 2000 with MSR 2000 strobe (real deal) Surefire HL1 light and luminous cat eyes. Not really trying to replicate any load-out in particular just been putting things I find most useful on it...








Now for some pictures of the HL1 mounted on the side of the helmet...





Here are two pictures of the "cat eyes" after I shined a torch over them for a second or so (this was pitch black so I had to use a different shutter speed to get the picture therefore the picture may be a bit grainy or "noisy"


They work very well for identifying my team mates when playing in lowlight environments as they hold the glow for quite a while.

Quality a baby Dark Helmet!


Made a start on my helmet (sounds rude!!) today.

The only one i could find when i was looking that would fit my rhino size head and was in budget was a replica PASGT helmet. Old fashioned i know but i dont really care....its not like its real!

Could only get a green one which at the time was fine as my PC was green so i tied in nicely. Now have a multicam load out i wanted to do something to update the lid and make it fit in better with the rest of my kit.

Only one coat of satin tan paint so far. I will be adding more colours when i have time to get the paint and mess around with it. Used an old scrim net for some texture.

Same helmet i got sam, stick some velcro on it and patches and some goggles and your sorted, mine was green to but sprayed it black lol

I have no idea what make mine is. Its not a Viper one as the inside is different. Mine has molded hard foam lining.
