The MoD have paid £250,000 for it so far, correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't of of those Eurofighter thingies cost about £20 million, and we got quite a few of those.

people are saying its been expensive so far, we've apid a lot for it, when actually, so far in the grand scheme of thing that is the MoD, we havent paid very much for it, so far.

But it will get a lot more expensive in the future to replace all the DPM, but then it will be cheaper, as it is one uniform instead of two.

Sell off all the eurofighters and give our guys individual mecha suits!

Kidding about the mecha suits but those eurofighters are an overpriced waste of money anyway.

Eurofighters are actually the only decent air superiority fighter we have. Our Tornados are really starting to show their age.

Just remember this is the MOD buying all this kit.
What ever the argument for and against. It will be over budget and take twice as long to come in to service above any date given.

Im not disputing the eurofighters a great air superiority fighter... its just that the RAF cant take it out of the UK so its totally useless.

Haha, Amen to the warmth hoggy, but jeez, I cannot stand the feeling of it against the skin! its abseloutly vile!

As for saving against 2/3 sets of each type of Uniform, I didnt think of that side of things either mate, very valid point. Ive nothing against the MTP, I never said it was a BAD thing as such performance and quality wise, I just think its a shame that Im inevitably losing my DPM's

But if it saves lives, and works, who am I to argue.

I just hope they will see SOME sense and let us wear the regular DPM at home maybe!
