                        open it out to a square, fold 2 opposite corners together to make a triangle. Take it to your face, top of the triangle pointing down, and wrap it around the lower half of your face.

                        Then pull the two corners around the back of your head, and under your chin, underneath the triangle thats on your face, and tie it in a knot or bow there.

                        Then pull down off your face and it should rest comfortably and stably around your neck.

                        Voila!

                              Why not? :p Its actually much quicker and easier to reach than mags on your chest when you're lying prone. Plus it is something you see quite alot of in photos of the time.
