To the Op, I do like my web-tex soft shell but I have found that because of a lack of a waistband drawstring wind could pretty easily get up under it and get you cold again. For the price I think they're reasonable.

However I am now looking into buying a Helikon soft shell jacket, £15 more expensive with postage and it comes with hood, drawstring waistband and the same amount of pockets. Also comes in 4 colours instead of 3.
