Re: Pouch sizing
ive got a warrior DAR mk 9 and i can safely say its an awesome lil rig.
it has 6 internal open topped mag pouches for either 7.62 or 5.56 mags
HOWEVER
im using 7.62 STANAG m14 mags and not AK mags and i do find that the internal mag pouches are a LITTLE bit tight, which is fine for removal, but a bit of a bitch to get them back in (especially under fire) hence, if you going to get a rig like that id strongly suggest a dump pouch for empty mags
Ive used the tripple molle 5.56 pouch for my WE SCAR mags but have yet to test them in combat, but at the moment it seems very snug, but not toooo tight.
It might be worth calling up said tactical company and ask if they will exhange the 5.56 pouches for 7.62 pouches as i know for a fact that they make the rigs up themselves from all the separate pouches and bits.
that aside warrior rigs are awesome, very well made, very tough, good stitching, comfortable and above all reasonably prices for what is effectively real deal gear.
