I personally wouldn't put unit patches like DEVGRU or ST10 patches, people can get funny about it. Maybe get a jolly roger patch? I don't see a problem with US NAVY as a lot of the old Massif ACS' had US ARMY. US Flags can go on both sides, remember to get a reverse one for your right arm (I think flags go on both sides).
Aye, suppose you're right about the unit patches, could be seen as disrespectful and I don't want to offend people. Will just slap a callsign on the arm then. The Calico Jack seems to be associated with raiding teams of SEALs from what I've read but I guess it would be an indicator towards the unit I'm trying to represent.

Aside from the disrespectful matter (I don't personally find it that bad considering they are of a different country and you aren't really pretending to be one if you get what I mean ) but I have never actually seen a picture of a SEAL operator wearing a team patch , just Flags , Nametape/Callsign patches , US Navy tabs and jolly rogers .
.
Any offence taken from my posts is likely intended.

Just ordered a couple of Calico Jacks to go with US patches, think that will do for me.
Problems? Problems? There is no problem I cannot solve with this...

Yeah, as said the only reason I'd be wearing them would be so other people less in the know could look at the patch and think "Ah Navy SEAL". But I've decided against it anyway, just put in a large patch order haha.

Re: US Navy SEALs interpretation with pics
Has anybody got a good couple of photos of a 6094 set up for a SEALs load please? Also a kit list of what would be normaly on it. And yes I have read a lot of SEALs threads but I just get lost lol..

Don't know if those will help, google is your friend!! Rough outline of what you would want: mag pouches, pistol mag pouches (if you have a sidearm), mbitr pouch, IFAK, hydro pouch, some sort of util pouch and an admin pouch. Pouches I've seen are a mix of MLCS MJK (EI/AI) and LBT AOR1 stuff.

Lets ban patches in general and only have ones of He-Man, Transformers or Hello Kitty. Then no one can get funny.
Or we could tell the ones who get funny to just get a job?
Maybe im being silly but I have NEVER actually seen anyone get funny about this stuff in real life unless they actually physically say they are really 100% part of that unit when they are in fact not.

LBT 6094 in AOR1 (NSWDG or GK issue only), Golden Knights patch on the chest (GK issue only), MICH 2001 with PVS15 (MARSOC very rarely wanders off from the 2000), Multicam uniform (Navy or Army, never USMC), and the weapon is a L119CQB (NZSAS issue)... The chances that guy is anything USMC are zero.

You're seeing an LBT 6094 in AOR1, I'm seeing a plate carrier in CB, you're seeing a chest patch, I'm seeing none, you're seeing a MICH 2001, I'm seeing no helmet, you're seeing Multicam, I'm seeing desert MARPAT. Either you've got the wrong pic, or you should have gone to Specsavers

<AT> WIthard: I personally have no problem with it and totally agree with you.
<AT> Fizzy: I think Wingmann is referring to the third picture from his set whereas you and Infidel are talking about the four I shoved up.

Re: US Navy SEALs interpretation with pics
Indeed, I think Wingman ninja'd Infidel's reply which means it could be a bit confusing, although he does refer to the second pic with 4 guys and Wingman's 2nd pic is an arm patch :p

I didn't ninja anything. Skull*.* posted after me. He must be old and slow. I'm just old :P
And I focused on the fact that he said four guys. A detail pic of a single arm doesn't really qualify, nor as a "second" pic neither as a group photo
Yes, those guys are wearing SPCs, thus they are USMC
