In the original Modern Warfare the American side was Marine Force Recon - but they look nothing like the MFR in real life.

Except it is completely in accurate and all made up, yes you can do a COD loadout but please don't think it is in any way a reference to real life. It isn't.

at no point did i say it was accurate, i simply suggested that it could be used as a visual reference because it looked like a decent loadout to me, though admittedly not an accurate one.

can we move back on topic instead of insulting posters with 'cod-kid' taunts thanks.

ARMA 2 isn't a bad reference point. But really you want to say clear of games for references.

Can I just say, I wasn't using CoD as a reference for the Loadout... i was only correcting someone as to which unit they were talking about.

What area is the OP wanting to use this loadout in: Woodland?

If so I would say go with Marpat with tan

A good starter attempt at a marine/FR loadout a long way from complete (if ever) and the SERPA is a personal choice but is used by some marine units.

The MARPAT is genuine surplus DONT use copy MARPAT (Bulle, tru spec etc) as it looks rubbish compared to the real thing.

I brought some woodland marpat now i need the assult vest helmet and m4
