Thanks alot guys! Slava - it's just an indisclosed place in South Wales just an amazing natural mountain basin, the scenery reminded me so much of the Afghan mountains that I had seen in the genuine Rangers pics.. just had to try and recreate some very happy with how they turned out.

The song Sexy And I Know It by LMFAO springs to mind right now... In all seriousness digging the location and the gear is spot on. I would recommend some shoulder pads (MSAPs? ) for the EPC/MBAV though, way more comfortable.

Funnily enough I noticed a few pics today where a few guys had shoulder pads on their PC's.. Realised I did not!

Any idea where I could find such an item?

And cheers for the comments dude! I also love the location..

Sorry it took me a while to reply, university work is catching up with me! MSAPs can be stupidly rare are usually found lurking in the depths of the 'Bay, but you can get good deals on them there and they're probably the most accurate shoulder pads you can buy in terms of impression. CIRAS shoulder pads are also pretty common, cheap and they can be found pretty much everywhere from tactical shops to eBay and they were actually used... There are alternatives like the MLCS cut shoulder pads and HSGI shoulder pads but I'm not sure if they're used (the latter looks quite similar to an MSAP shoulder pad). Both of them can be found on a bunch of tactical websites which I can PM you if you want. But I personally would recommend waiting on MSAPs on the Bay, definitely worth it...

Oh yeah and I fiddled with my pouch placement a bit so it makes more sense, didn't really see the point in getting a ton of photos for it but hey:

Nice one Bob I used to like the high-chest mounted magazine pouches on my CIRAS.. how are you finding it? I found it makes it a little easier to grab a mag if you're prone or low to the ground

Is it an Eagle PC you're sporting? I have a RG one but I'm after Khaki for yet an even more modern Ranger 2011-Present loadout. Even a FLYYE would do, but findng it hard to track one down

Question regarding SEALs. They wear ACU's among other things (AOR1&2 costs a damned fortune), is it just the Universal Camoflage Pattern or do they use Multicam?

              Cheers.

If you're going for a classic SEALs loadout that everyone will recognise.. then use Tri-Colour.

Note: The last picture is an Impression not the real deal.

They also have been pictured sporting PCU BDU's or just jackets with Tri-Col..

The SEALs used ACU at some point when in Iraq. Think it was during the Battle for Fallujah

I have only seena handful of pictures of them in Multicam back last year.. think it was only used for a short period of time before swapping over to AOR1.

And of course, to present day as far as we all know they are using AOR1..

Thanks for the advice and the pictures but I'm trying to steer away from desert camo at the minute. But it's alright because I actually used the search function on here and found a not bad stand in for AOR2 with Claw Gear, not 100% accurate but a damn sight cheaper than other versions out there.

I love the setup but a lot of people have been giving me stick for it. Ah well I'm modifying it slowly, just bought me an SFLCS admin for a steal so yeah haha.
Yeah it is although it's masquerading as an MBAV, I love it to bits especially with the shoulder stuff. Honestly If I were you I'd stick with your RG one, the RG loadouts look a lot better than the transitional ones (IMO) and wait on the 'Bay and get a real one! I got mine for £60 shipped! Bloody bargain. I've found a few MBAVs for sale but they're pretty expensive we're talking £300+

<AT>Teufelhunden: Is that the Allwin AOR1? If it is how are you finding it?

<AT>Fenrisian spirit: AOR2 is based off CADPAT so you might want to have a look at some of that stuff too... and they did just order a bunch of Crye JPCs in multicam make of that what you will... Also you could RAID mod some woodland... it would be a lot cheaper and it looks pretty damn cool.

IIRC ALL Digital patterns where based on Canadian design and technique. CADPAT (2002) > MARPAT > UCP > ABU > NWU Type I, Type II and Type III (2010)

Would you see a USSF troop using CB or khaki plate carriers?

I am pretty sure that it has been covered before within this thread but YES, MJK (Khaki) is being used by USSF.
