Both rocking ospreys and custom dyed Ubacs... For some reason everyone has started calling me dusty (from Medal of Honor game franchise)

Me and a team mate at our local site- excuse his lack of ddpm trousers... Should of made him play in his pants like primary school when you forgot kit lol

I own an Osprey Load Carrying Assault Vest though I think I might chuck it in for the Osprey Body Armour instead.

In what capacity would our real squaddies use them both for?

I believe some squaddies especially drivers actually used both or a more favoured was plain osprey and belt kit

I know of blokes using viper assault vests on telic 10 (I think). Although they were in bulldogs for the majority of their tours.

Old School Lightweight Short Patrol/Recon inspired kit - Not anything near authentic, just what I like

'68 Pattern jacket
OD General Service Shirt
OD Lightweight Trousers
Pattern 58 Belt, Yoke, Poncho Roll (Holds my US Night desert Parka) Compass pouch w/compass, Bino Pouch w/vintage Bino's, x 2 Water Bottle pouch (1 serves as Ammo Pouch, the other as magazine Pouch), M56 grenade pouch (For Radio), M56 Butt Pack for Food, tool and other misc skirmish related stuff, Leather Knife Sheath and Cold Steel Training Blade, Brit Issue Right Angle Torch.

I'd also probably add a black/OD Shemagh, Black Leather Gloves, and an OD boonie hat to this ensemble.
