We used old NBC boots, though the old green tape is common too.
Surely you must have a massive head if you use a land rover wheel inner tube!!!

There isnt any on there, the black rim is electrical tape until i can pilfer an inner tube.

No not around the rim all over the helmet cover, unless you've changed it after your pictures above you still have it on

Oh i see, sorry pal, yes its still on there but will be sorted out properly when i get an inner tube and some wider scrim netting to put over the top.

Dont bother with black tubing around your helmet, it frames your head and makes your face a target.

If you must put a rim around your helmet, use sniper tape in the appropriate colour and try to camouflage it as near to the colour of the rest of your helmet as possible.

Any legit sniper would never do this, people only ever do this because they are copying para rifle company troops.

It is terribly bad drills.

I have set up a Afghanistan esq sniper set up, the pouches on the Osprey are usually a medium verticle utility pouch on the right hand side of the vest but i had it set up for a skirmish the next day.

Also i usually have the L96 with some desert cammo tape but i was in the middle of an upgrade so i removed it.

I based it on the picture alongside.

i agree with you a sniper will keep every thing as is only for cam reasons start cutting starps and them no cam unless u have a ghillie suit
