well i served 22 yrs and never had a prob with twisties riding up my leg and personnaly its down to the individual what he likes to wear me personally dont like the built in ties as they dont look as tidy and with ref on tour if they r loose i sure as hell would'nt like a scorpion or some of the nasty spiders crawling up my legs

The Impossible i can do, Miracles take slightly longer .

Because people go through sweat, blood, tears and all f*king hell through CTC to earn the right to wear that flash. It's disrespectful, regardless of the situation.

Slava - Understand that it came on the kit when you purchased it, but my advice would be to remove it.

Yep guys, let's not start this discussion here! There's a separate thread for that

Combat 95/PCS isnt designed to be smart, its designed to be practical! Thats why we have no creases and generally cut all ties out, hoods down, smocks loose.

Careful! You'll make lots of airsofters & cadets VERY angry!

While I don't wear unit badges because I haven't earned them and doing so would make me feel extremely uncomfortable, I don't think it's innately disrespectful. Infact since the guy is doing a Brit loadout with a commendable attention to detail, I would imagine he has respect and admiration for our forces, and putting togetehr the loadout would mean researching what they do and go through, and make somone even less likely to disrespect them, and will atleast appreciate what the badge might mean to people. You wouldn't emulate someone you don't respect.

Some people come out with genuine crap about our armed forces and they are more guilty of being disrespectful than an airsofter.

Seems a shame it was the first thing picked up on by a load of people, rather than the fact your kit rocks. I really do think it looks great and certainly has an increasing impression of authenticity. How're the weapons coming? Be good to see a top to toe shot at some point.

                    Thanks Jay, really appreciate it!
Yes, I indeed have only the utmost respect for our armed forces, that's why I wanted to do a loadout like this. (As opposed to the many Delta Force/DEVGRU loadouts..)
Currently there haven't been many developments on the weapon side, I'm still saving up to buy a RIS for the L85! However, a foldable foregrip and harris bipod for the L129A1 should be on their way soon.
Hopefully we'll get some pics when we go to a weekender. I'm also going to attempt to contact a local quarry that we have down the road and see if they'd be willing for us to come down and take a few pictures there!

I wasn't accusing Slava of being disrespectful, I acknowledged that as he stated it was on the kit when he bought it. Perhaps the choice of wording on my part could have been better, I was just responding in a similarly off hand tone that was exhibited by posters previous, sans the cussing.

I don't wear the flashes/rank I am entitled to. Unless it's a historic and/or specific battle re-enactment, I still fail to see why people do it. Walt-tastic I suppose.

God dammit guys. Why do 90% of British threads boil down to this discussion? (never seems to happen on the US threads, hmm). Anyway, there is a separate thread for this! So please get back on topic or I'll lock this thread..

Slava, your loadout is awesome. This new MTP stuff our guys are getting is loads better than DPM IMO, kudos.
