Although that would be incorrect as US marines don't wear said camo and marpat derives from MARine PATtern, not to be confused with the similar looking AOR 2(Area of responsibility) used by the US navy, in particular NSW. Interestingly enough the USMC rejected AOR2 over marpat, but I digress from the thread :D

Of course if you're going to get technical it would be incorrect. But if for example people wished to look for it to buy, urban marpat can be useful in google.
It's all swings and roundabouts really
Edit: Scratch that. Urban marpat was developed it just hasn't been authorised for use by the marines. Google is your friend with this one

Re: Loadout Advice
As above I would say a helmet, you can get Mich 2000s very cheaply. I always wear one as it doesnt look good going to see clients with red marks all over your head! Mine fits well and I don't notice it's on most of the time. It is a bit hot but it's hot anyway with all the paraphernalia on you wear for airsoft anyway!

Re: Loadout Advice
It was called urban marpat as it was develop for United States Marine Corps, but not authorised for issue
from another site
There were initially three MARPAT patterns: Woodland, Desert, and Urban. Currently, only the Woodland and Desert patterns are used by the Marine Corps

Agreed, looking at a speed holster atm for the HiCapa... and Roxy, it wouldn't matter what I was or wasn't wearing now would it

It isn't marketed as MARPAT, but funnily if you compare it to MARPAT it is the same pattern, just the shapes which would be the primary colour are instead used for the secondary colour.

Agreed, District 9 was very cool - I did look for the D9 gear but couldn't find any.

The place I got them from no longer has them, they do come up on here from time to time. Mountain bike gloves aren't a bad shout, I'm sure my 661 gloves would hold up pretty well in airsoft, they get enough abuse on the bike, should be fine

Re: Loadout Advice
Well spotted Mack! The cut is completely different but the core pattern is the same. I wont be going for the Atlantis look but at least I can say it was inspired by the series.

Awesome, liking the Urban Cadpat alot! Havent seen that on the skirmish field before. Cant help but think a black plate carrier would look better but thats just my personal taste.
