Is there anyone on this forum who lives in taunton, somerset and does airsoft, i know that airsoft is getting bigger so i was just hoping that there are more players where i live and maybe get the chance to skirmish with them.

There was quite a few, back a few years ago. Most of them now don't play. You might know them, some of the run a DnD club in Taunton.

Taunton is possibly the airsoft capital of the UK.

really?! Don't think one of mine has gone there, Kent is definately most popular place airsoft wise.

I'm in Somerset, about 9miles south of Taunton, in the blackdown hills.

I mainly skirmish at skirmish Exeter as it is the closest to me.

Keeping an old thread alive!

Just wondered who is currently around, actively involved with airsoft? Surrounding areas too, not neccessarily looking to start/join a team but having some contacts to arrange game days etc might be handy?

my girlfriend lives in Taunton (well before she moved in with me) and Im only just down the road in Plymouth. Are there any sites in/around Taunton?

The options are Exeter UCZ or Skirmish or Bristol (haven't been to either).

Or both GZ sites, which again I have never been to and am unsure of wheteher it would be worth the trip (2hrs+ for GZW)? if you had a few players to go with maybe?!

I thought UCZ had stopped doing airsoft and gone paintball only, or have they just stopped doing walkons? Have been meaning to try bristol courthouses myself for some time now, perhaps a local(ish) lads day out is in order! :P

UCZ run every Friday night. It was walk on last time I went. May try courthouses on Thurs, I've seen mixed reviews but I'd like to make my own decision

It's ucz newton abbot that stopped airsoft and went paintball only
