My point was this is not a neutral forum in as much as its a forum by Zero One.
Meh, my intent was to point out neutral is neutral and not shades of.
Nothing more.
I have never seen a post discussing the merits of kit sold by zero one modded. It doesn't matter how much people slag their products, they don't interfere as long as the shop themselves are left out of the equation and the discussion is limited to the product and not the retailer. I have seen plenty of threads get modded to remove mention of other retailers, even though that retailer is getting attacked for their service etc, which leaving in would be in the interests of zero one.
The only time that the mods get involved is when either the shop, site or staff are insulted (and even that is allowed to a certain degree) and when alternative suppliers are mentioned.
You can make reference to any piece of kit on this forum in the knowledge that you will get 100% unbiased opinions from other users. You may not like what they say and, to be fair, a lot of the time what is being said is a load of bo**ocks, but that's not because of zero one running the site.
I can't think of a better way of explaining that, in relation to the OP (in other words PRODUCT reviews), this is a neutral forum.

Re: gun reveiws on buying sites
I use a US website, there is a good one with lots of pretty impartial reviews on it, and people do post what they feel. Don't buy from it, but do use it to look up guns I am interested in. The last one I bought had about 65 reviews, most were ok, some hated it, but pretty much all listed the same pro/cons, so I was happy with what I was getting into.

Re: gun reveiws on buying sites
well I have read a few reviews on a certain scottish site and i do think they are impartial and usually if the criticism is valid then that company will reply to the review with fixes or help.
