I also use the adaptor for methane. Sove it up a cows A**e methane smells more than propane though. really bloody hard to do it though with only one arm

Years of armed service mate does things to your head.
Back on topic though and more seriously. Butane is very very weak and all that will happen is that it will vent out. oh an don't try methane it will blow you sky high. And it wreaks havoc with the Ozone layer
