I don't worry about accuracy, i buy my BB's in thousand's and not dozens, If i miss the first shot I have a few k more little round white Bas*ards i can try and hit with..

You shouldn't be aiming to shoot shooting people in the head anyway!

Precisely, headshots en masse will get you some really short games and the hairy eyeball fella

head shots wont get you no love. The last time i played there was a sniper who kept aiming for head shots he shot me once in the head and before i got my hand up another 2 more hit me the face needles to say he nearly met the butt of g36 in his face but the marshals had see it and no end of my team complained about him just aiming for head shots so he got a new ass hole torn and left after that

At 350 FPS your BB won't travel further than 180 feet (54 meters).



It will have lost all of it's energy by 54 meters. This graph also shows how heavier rounds retain their energy for longer, as does this:

In short you need to:

1. Try something else as the way you come across is not the kind of person I would want to be playing a skirmish both with or against. Either that or change your tune.

2. Do a bit more research into what is possible via videos and pictures taken. I know that I can hit a man sized target with an airsoft pistol at 20m time and time again on a range but when you factor in my heart rate, wind, speed of target and many other factors it doesn't become as easy to do. It is down to a number of things with how well you could hit a target with consistency.

After these two things have been looked at then better information can be given.

Lets face it, Airsoft guns are essentially muskets.
Round ball and no rifling, instead of an explosive charge propelling, its a blast of air.
Muskets were never known for accuracy or range until rifling and miniballs were introduced.

We already know the sweet spot barrel length is about 475mm.

Hi,

I came to airsoft from a real steel shooting background from New Zealand. The one thing that I have always tried to achieve is the best possible accuracy. I learned to shoot in such a way that every time I pulled the trigger a little black hole appeared in the target where the cross hairs had been positioned; so what I cannot abide is my shots falling short or swerving off at the last second in a skirmish.

So here is my question, I would like a rifle that can hit someone in the head at 70 meters consistently. I don't care how much it costs, I don't care what I have to upgrade it with, ptw aeg or gbb but I want to be able to make those one in a million shots, and I want to make them one after another.

Is it possible and if so how?

With that attitude of "hitting someone in the head" at my site you'd get a smack in the gob.

plus you would be laughed at first for being so daft as to ignore the biggest possible target the body. Hit the body and your accuracy will seem alot better. Aim for the head and you will miss most of the time!

But i really dont think airsoft is your thing. It also sounds like you wanna hurt people... what a knob.

Maybe not smacked in the gob, but yeah OP, I think you have misjudged the spirit of the community you are talking to. Deliberately testing people's face/eye protection is not cool.

It'll also depend on the person you lace repeatedly in the face. Some may be patient and ask you nicely to stop. others will tell the marshall, but i bet you dollars to donuts there will be others that'll cut out the middle man and panelbeat yer noggin.
