Interesting! If you want my OEM slide as a backup, drop me a line and we'll work something out.

Re: Pistol Slide Engraving M&P
I've recently bought an HK Glock 17 and I intend to get the "Gen 4" lettering engraved by someone. Thankful I found this thread. I'll check out Timpsons first.
Things I hate:
1. People who hate things.
2. Irony.
3. Lists.

Re: Pistol Slide Engraving M&P
My local engraver was happy to take on the task to do laser engraving, obviously not very deep but with the anodized slides it would expose bare metal and I can't afford a decent paint job

Re: Pistol Slide Engraving M&P
Am I the only one that likes the idea of getting a gold colt and just having it engraved to shit*..?
-----EDIT-----
*theoretically speaking. Just fancy wavy lines and patterns.

Just picked it up today.
Shame the full auto glitch has re-appeared. Anyone where to get spares for this in the uk?

Looks good
How much did that skin you?
I'm looking at getting trades engraved on a WE 1911 DS I just stripped but I'll be Alu-blacking it afterwards so the trades might POP more once it's done.
Not entirely sure though.
Did anyone go down the Timpson Mechanical route for theirs?

Re: Pistol Slide Engraving M&P
Got a deal as it took longer than expected but originally quoted £20
I would have gone down getting it milled if I could afford the £40+ to get it cerakoted afterwards

Re: Pistol Slide Engraving M&P
If you need lettering Timpsons is fine,. but if you need logos or other graphics they have to get them set up which costs £40. Not sure if they'll do copyrighted designs either.
The laptop is mightier than the pistol.
