Strangest trade / swap / part-ex offer you've had?

Feeling somewhat inspired by a previous thread, I am on a mission to find out just how many other crack heads there are out there in Airsoftlandshire.

So, what is the strangest request or proposition have you had for a bit of kit you are advertising?

This can include all the:

"Not interested in G36s"

"Hi mate, I have a G36 if you are interested"

But I am much more interested in the offers of hamster cages and antique gaming systems!!

I had someone offer me a homemade RC plane and a Nintendo 64 for my Systema TW5

Once had a guy offer me his JG ex two-tone M4 as a swap for my Inokatsu AK74 because, quote, 'I can get that AK for £130 from China'. Not so much an odd item, but his complete inability to understand there were different makes of AK/M4 etc was quite impressive.

I think topping the hamster cage is practically unbeatable, and should anyone have something that does, we want proof!

Mine's pretty poor in comparison, but I was selling a G&P M16A2 for £250 and said I'd take a TM1911 as p/x. I got a PM from someone asking that if he went and bought a brand new TM1911 (was £99.99 on Zero One at the time) then would I do a straight swap?

I was offered an ex two-tone JG Beta Spetz as a straight swap for the airsoft surgeon modified ARES AWS sniper rifle I had up for sale because "its custom and i've modified it".

Needless to say my response to that pm called doubt on the originators personal hygiene and the mating habits of his predecessors.

I also had someone offer me £150 all in for the para ordinanace pro-killer and Doberman i was selling for £175 each with spare mags. Even more entertaining the guy in question then left me negative feedback (since rescinded) after receiving my response to his offer.

I too was offered a two tone JG M4 CQB for a CA M4 with 203, couple of moscarts and chrome dessie eagle with 2x mags. It must be the same kid as Nun chuck, because he literally wouldn't take it that he was a tit and his gun wasn't worth anywhere near what he thought it was. It was of course, my loss and I am a big fat loser and he wasn't going to hang around for ever etc.

I was also offered two parakeets in a cage by a lad. Can't recall what for though? I declined.

Been offered a JG aug for a celcius CTW MX2 STTS update, 9 mags 6 of which were systema mags, all original furniture but fitted with a Noveske rail.

Low balled a few times too.
