I was once offered an N64, some model planes that hang from the ceiling and one that I could actually fly on two different forums once for an ICS L85 and another time for a CA M4. Admittedly it was a while ago and I believe I did enquire into buying the planes for cash but quickly reconsidered the ribbing I'd get when the family eventually saw them as well as the Boss, She's bad enough with Airsoft...

I was selling a TM P226 with a whole host of kit to fund buying a new snowboard and some new strings for my guitar, Still learning & only bothering because a lot of folk persist on telling me. I have hands designed for playing a guitar apparently? I guess it is a thing. Anyway I was offered an old beat up board, bindings and some guitar strings if I travelled to France to meet the guy out of my own pocket, The answer was never sent but the 226 was sold a couple weeks after to someone else...

Huh, not so much a weird offer on my behalf but one I made back in 2007 pre-VCRA.

I offered a KJ Works P14.45 (the WA clone one) for a near mint Tanio Koba VP-70 (worth about double the price of my pistol).

They accepted and I got to see how well built but just damn right useless the TK VP-70 was, still it was worth so much more when I then sold it a month later :p.

I'm surprised my name hasn't appeared here because I'm a cheeky c@@t and make ridiculous low ball offers and stupid trade suggestions when I see something I like the look of and has been bumped for a few weeks lol :P

I swapped a CM16 Raider for a TM Recce Rifle. It was a damn good performing raider too.

Someone in Sweden offered me an S&T Tar21 (just the gun) for my WE M14 and mags.

When I told him "no", he told me I was missing out on a good deal as his S&T was superior to my gun.

I also call bullshit good sir

my strangest trade was swapping a variety of pouches, scopes etc for an almost BNIB UAR, I then traded that UAR for an M4 with lots of parts attached, which I then traded for a wide selection of p90 parts, magazines etc. Made me feel like a ferengi.

I also created an elaborate april fools joke where I managed to convince several people that their local sites had been traded in by the owners. I took each person and told them that "the site had been sold" ask such and such, who had also been told by me "the site had been sold", never mentioned a specific name, always "the site", and as such this rumour grew exponentially as each person talked to every other person without realising they were all talking about different sites. I was hated for about 3 months.

Can't prove unfortunately seeing as there's generally no receipt or proof of sale in a swap! The guy was a yank and had picked it up for fuck all when he was stationed in Japan. As far as he was concerned it wasn't worth THAT much to what most UK sold ones were. The raider did have a bunch of extras like a nice posh Troy rail, high torque motor and RDS. Sold the Recce soon after to a mate for £300 and he was complaining it was too much for a Recce, 3 PMAGS, battery and AAC suppressor lol.
