Re: new hit taking rule
imi have been going to AP for a year now and i have never heard anyone shouting but i have heard players challenge another over a hit and its always resovled gentlemanly
seeing as i was shot by both teams simultaniusly at sundays ctf warm up and watching a team fighting itself for 20 minutes i disgree that armbands are confusing, people just dont look :D
and as i stated in an earlier post there are always two or three player marshals on both teams.

Re: new hit taking rule
i do hope theres some form of verification, as i ended up sin binned once purely from being accussed of cheating, now if it would have been woodland or if id been wearing a plate carrier and not felt it then i may have done (not intentional, just bbs deviating from flight path, not feeling etc)
but i was wearing a tshirt in cqb, the guy said he shot me 4 times in the back, nw when i get shot at cqb, in just a tshirt and combat trousers, i tend to hop on the spot shouting "f-ing hell that hurt!" so got accused and sinbinned, he did this with 3 other people, so we took his AEG to the range only to find his hop was naffed and pulling to the right 6-9 inches at 10 yards.
TL:DR
make sure theyre cheating before acqusing someone. and remember to sight your gats in gents

many of our marshals do it out of the goodness of their heart or in exchange for a free game.
Or love!

maybe the marshal thought you were a tough nut??
but seriously if you were accused the mashal would simply ask if you were hit and then advise you that you were or if as you say was wearing a t shirt then it'd be time to look at the accusers "gat".

Re: new hit taking rule
I only wear face pro in CQB, in woodland I just wear eye pro. Had a lad open up a longish burst on my head from about 5m while I was peeking through a window. "I must have hit you" he said. I pointed out the lack of marks and that I wasn't swearing. Full Auto doesn't equal insta-hit!

Re: new hit taking rule
So long as its done in a proven manner i have no issues with it. I first encountered this rule at Swindon CQB and it worked well.
I play at a site where the average ingagement is 5-10 feet, and all indoor so no wind to diviate the bb as much as outside. Believe it or not there are still issues with hit taking. We recently had a well known team down our site who were not taking hits, unfortunately i was the only marshall on and couldnt get round to everyone.

I find 'pro teams' are often an issue at weekend skirmishes.
Lack of hit taking = embarassment of being hit by a 13 year old kid with a rental....

Re: new hit taking rule
We are thinking about implementing a new rule at our site, depending on how many people play, if you are complained about by say 10 different people (providing there is enough players on each side) then we pull them out the game. As you all know people who don't take hits all of a sudden become good as gold when a Marshall comes close. So we plan to give players a helping hand with this rule, thoughts?
