Re: My first milsim game yesterday was not so great
This group of players sound familiar? was one of them a large bloke wearing MTP with a london accent?
-'Sly villain! Thou does not acknowledge thine hits!'
-'I doth so, yonder vagabond, but thouest has the control of a nunnery whore, and thine accuracy doth compare to thine codpiece, short of the mark!'

Re: My first milsim game yesterday was not so great
Wow.... People have been put off by longmoor!!!!!! Wtf
Let me explain something fellas... Airsoft sites are like curries! Given the same ingredients different organisers will come out with different results! I've been to longmoor run by FCS and I could not fault it one bit! There were Marshall's bloody everywhere and especially in strategic places! I did not see one shred of cheating! Now if another organiser runs said site and doesn't cook it up as well it doesn't mean longmoor is a crap place to go or that all curries are crap if you get my drift!
I've lost count of the amount of times I've been to games which can only be described as a dry lunch only for me and my boys to say I which that site was run by so and so! That's what really makes the difference

Also from a players point of view I imagine organisers must get wound up if they don't hear complaints the whole event only to see online social pages be flooded with moans! Give organisers feedback there and then good or bad so they can do something about it! After all they lay the event out for us paying customers so it's in they're interest to listen.
Personally if I go to a site and the cheating is rife, I will mention it to a Marshall. Second time I mention it to management. Third time I walk off site calmly asking for my money back as this service is not what I paid for. Organisers know that they have the power to eject dangerous or dishonest players so in not doing so they are not providing a decent level of service.
I've never completely slated a site/organiser but I think I could do if it really absolutely required. On the same note I've bigged up sites/organisers/shops for high levels of service so it goes both ways

FCS have got a game at longmoor on 1st November, 4 separate teams, so looks interesting. Not cheap, but generally good value. Book early to save cash.

Ok, I've re-read this thread again, and I still don't see where people are saying Longmoor is crap?

Ah crud. I've been eyeing up Longmoor as its pretty close to me. Hopefully its a blip, I was planning to get onto one of their's before the year ended.
prior to finding out that the site is used by multiple companies. If you are skim reading my later comments could have been missed.

Yeah, I know you were referring to a particular organiser but it was cleared up pretty quickly that several companies run events there, and have great success
