I remember waaay back in the day when I purchased my first AEG - a UTG (remember them? Anyone? *crickets*) MP5 Marui-ripoff.
After taking it out of the box the first thing I tried was the old HK-slap...
Slap. Ping. Smash.
The cocking handle was slightly broken during the slap, pinged off entirely when the spring flicked it forwards, and catapulted off the gun to chip a corner off my wall mirror.
After a few seconds I couldn't think whether to be more embarrassed about breaking the gun or breaking the mirror. As it turned out, the biggest embarrassment was buying the gun in the first place!
