Having read the posts again, I think the way (most ) of you guys, and particularly Dadio and EC's points, have put it, (although I'll always be against walting) has actually changed my overall opinion on the face blanking business... mm, it pays to debate ...nice one chaps, thanks...

people HAVE the right to not want their faces shown, and it's their choice no matter what. Whether they're Military personnel, Police, a banker, or someone who works in a supermarket, it's all down to personal security.

This has alweays been my fear, Hence you never see pics of me, even when friends take pics i advice them to be careful as in some cases you can loose your job and worse still have some A-hole jurno post my picture as Sun or Daily Mail headline of UK born terrorists attend training camps in Britian. For some poeple in the sport who are Muslim this is a very real fear.

im always untagging my airsoft pictures that my friends keep putting,its getting less now ive asked them to use my other account profile...its just because I don't want ignorant people to get the wrong idea

Not having a career to worry about I'm actually at liberty to plaster my FB feed with pictures of me in action. Its wonderful as a hypocrite detector.

Because I support a cause or two that are somewhat left leaning, I occasionally mix with middle class dreadlock wearers who in the name of equality and social justice immediately assume that a photo of me in camo and a bearing a RIF mean that I am an oppressive fascist supporter of the military industrial machine, and then tell me so immediately. It saves time to identify such it's-not-judgement-if-i'm-doing-it spacktards quickly I find.

Agree with Figjam, shows a great attitude and general class of a person to say that.

Im with you on walting, but then a lot of people would class all airsofters as walts so I suppose it's where you draw the line......but that's for another debate that I would rather not get into.
