Re: 3 round burst?
yeah, its called holding the trigger down for only a short burst. :D
failing that, you could go down the complicated route of fitting a mosfet and fire computer that electronically controls the length of the burst to 3 shots.
But in all honesty? Why bother? Its an expensive and compliex mod for little gain, whats wrong with either double/triple tap on semi or short burst on auto?

Re: 3 round burst?
you can buy a mosfet (programmable) which will allow you to do 3 round burst, like the systema, I saw them advertised in the US sites somewhere, don't ask where though.
note, a standard Mosfet won't do this.

Re: 3 round burst?
makes a difference at cqb sites, I know mine allows 3rb, otherwise it has to be single shot.
get a cheetah extreme fire one, you can set it to burst or auto, so it doesnt limit you

Re: 3 round burst?
Tearcel , i wouldnt say for a little gain, the gain is you get a 3rd burst and if thats what you want then great gain no!
I use a cheetah mosfet from extreme fire a lovely little site in the US, allows for normal use but with the benitfit of a mosfet, semi/full, semi/3rd burst(keep holding trigger it goes auto), semi/semi. You can conrtol the motor and burst speeds.
For me it works wonders, i only use single shot most of the time but a 3rd burst is good for quick undisputed kills and harasing fire.
Depending on your gearbox it isnt that complicated to fit, you need to know how to operate inside an aeg int he first place (a given really) and havea bit of soldering knowledge and not be colour blind.

Semi threadjack here!
Been contemplating a MOSFET for a while, and this really does appeal much more so than anything I have seen before, especially the controlled motor speed!
Do you even need to take your gearbox apart to use this, it looks like you can simply attach it to the existing wiring and attach it to the motor.. am I wrong here?

Re: 3 round burst?
Afraid so.
Depending on the mosfet, you will need to attach either one or two thin wires to the trigger connectors.
Usually requiring you to open the gearbox and reroute the existing wires ( or replace ).

Re: 3 round burst?
V7 gear box all the electrics are on the outside if that helps. Most of the others you'll need to strip the box. Worth it tho.

Re: 3 round burst?
I thought it wouldn't be as simple as it looked!
Looks like it could have just chopped the motor wires and fed them up alongside the gearbox!
